Synopsis: New York. A psychiatrist’s career and private life is derailed after he refuses to testify in favor of a violent and unstable former patient who caused the death of many people. An explosive chain reaction is triggered by the young patient’s affiliation with the LGBTQ+ community, the doctor’s Jewish faith, the media’s hunger for a good story and the harsh judgment of the law, it is all exacerbated by a newspaper editor’s printing error. The harassing media and the relentless judicial system add to the psychiatrist’s moral dilemma as he takes refuge behind the Hippocratic Oath to defend himself from all of the inquiries, pressures, and betrayals while in search of the truth. So, who is the monster? The boy? The doctor? The press? The justice system? Who can be deemed innocent?
