Synopsis: Giulia, ex-rising star of Mixed Martial Arts, abandons the fighting world after a tragic incident that takes place during a particularly cruel bout. She works at a small, family-run zoo with her boyfriend Alessandro, but is still tormented by a burning desire to return to the octagon to get her “revenge” match against Beauty Killer, the fighter who had beaten her and forced her to retire from the MMA. Choosing to follow her own ambitions, Giulia is well aware that she risks jeopardizing her relationship with Alessandro and the future they had begun to envision for themselves together. But she also knows that if she gives up now, she’ll lead a life of constant regret. After floundering, her convictions are finally bolstered by the relationship she builds with her new trainer, Serena. Theirs will grow into a deep bond, one that sustains Giulia all through the perilous pathway of growth towards a liberation from the cage in which she had seriously been risking to lock herself.
