Synopsis: The year is 1800, in the Sant Ignazio College, an old decrepit musical institution for girls, somewhere near Venice. Here lives “the Mute”, a silent, solitary maid devoted to the humblest chores. No one knows her name, Teresa, and no one suspects her extraordinary, hidden visionary talent that enables her to sense the universe’s harmony and reshape reality through music.
